Our Guarantee
We guarantee that Tall Pines Kennels puppies are healthy and current on vaccinations and deworming at the time of purchase. Before going to their new homes, each puppy will receive a thorough examination from our vet, as well as a certificate of health. In some cases, if the puppy is old enough, he or she will also receive a rabies vaccination and tag. It is the responsibility of the buyer to continue with vaccinations, a routine deworming schedule, and veterinary care.
If the puppy is found to have a contagious disease within ten days of purchase, we are to be notified immediately. We guarantee for ten days from the date of purchase against parvovirus, bordatella, distemper, hepatitis, and parainfluenza. We do not guarantee our puppies against hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), because small breed puppies can get low blood sugar easily, and we inform all buyers prior to purchase about how to prevent and treat it. Once a puppy leaves us, how he/she is cared for is out of our control. We do not guarantee against diarrhea or coccidia, which can be caused by stress and is, again, easily treatable and out of our control. If the puppy dies of parvovirus, bordatella, distemper, hepatitis, or parainfluenza within ten days of purchase, notify us within five days of the death. If we receive written proof from your veterinarian verifying the cause of death, we will replace the puppy with the same breed and sex, of comparable quality/price, from our next available litter.
We guarantee our puppies from one year from their date of birth against congenital (birth) defects that will affect their ability to lead a normal, healthy life. Examples of such defects would be: blindness, deafness, heart murmur, neurological defects, or hip dysplasia. If your puppy is found to have such a defect, notify us within a week of the diagnosis (with written veterinary proof), and we will refund the purchase price of the puppy. (We will not refund shipping costs.) We do not guarantee against cosmetic defects such as an undescended testicle.
We do not guarantee dogs for breeding. We do not guarantee a puppy will be a certain size at maturity--we can only offer our best guess based on the size of the parents.
Buyer is responsible for all veterinary expenses and return shipping expenses.
